Day four of my marathon migraine ended with this unusual sunset. The clouds over the lake created a dark background for the well lit skyline.

I finally woke from my migraine-haze - in time to see the sunset reflected on the skyline.

Meteorolocial fall arrived on Monday, bringing much cooler weather. The sunrises are getting later and later, but still amazing us everyday.
Now this might seem trivial to some, but it's always bothered me that Morgan is obsessed with drinking from the faucet whereas Bailey could care less. Tonight I noticed Bailey showing some interest in the sink, and 20 minutes later (and sniffing and biting the water stream) he's a faucet drinkin' feline.
Now if I can only stop this behavior.

I was about to leave for work this morning when I noticed that the stargazer lillys were in peak bloom AND the light in the loft was perfect. So for the coworkers who noticed I was late today, here's my justification :)
There was an AWESOME bright orange moonrise tonight - unfortunately this picture doesn't do it justice :(

Another cool sunrise

Last month (pre-curtain), the sun was much farther north. Today I noticed it is perfectly aligned with the Hancock building. Always good to start the day with a great shot off the balcony :)
A picture every few days or so...
Well, there's also this, but more details on that to follow.
