In 2008 we were fortunate to spend five nights at the Tundra Buggy Lodge in Churchill, Canada observing wild polar bears in their natural habitat. As one of the “must sees” for any wildlife photographer, we booked this trip FAR in advance and hoped that the experience would justify the hefty price tag. With bears banging on the side of the lodge, lots of sparing bears, and a mom nursing two cubs it is safe to say that the trip far exceeded our expectations.
