The last part of our mobile camping safari brought us to Xigera Tented Camp, deep, DEEP in the Okavango Delta. The camp was the most basic of the ones we visited, but the wildlife, scenery, mokoros, and staff made this our favorite for sure. Another fun find from the little audio recorder: a purring (or maybe growling) lion ! If I remember correctly, this clip came from a night game drive at Kirkman’s Kamp. The more I dig through my files, the more things I find that I completely forgot about. For example, I remembered that I have an entire audio recorder full of random sounds from South Africa and Botswana. It took me a while to figure out how to remove the files, but once I did I found some GREAT audio clips.
