I’m still shlogging though a few hundred pictures a night, desperately trying to get through the backlog before another trip. Right now I’m working on our 2009 Christmas trip to Japan. We shot over 3500 pictures and 3GB of video so it might be a while… In the mean time, I thought that I would post this super cute photo snapped with one of our point and shoot cameras. (Click to...

At one point it began to snow, big fluffy flakes (the kind of snow I actually like), and the mother pictured below sat and nursed her baby...

The final numbers are in, and we shot just over 3,000 images (not including pictures with our point and shoot cameras, or video…).
AND I still have pictures to go through from South Africa, and Botswana, and the Bahamas – good thing we have nothing planned in the immediate...

This morning we left Tokyo bound for Kushiro on the island of Hokkaido. Taking off from Haneda we had a great view of the city with Mt. Fuji in the background.
We arrived in snowy Kushiro and picked up our rental car, a Prius with an English navigation system. One small note, that you might say is fairly important, is that the audible directions are in English, but the buttons on the GPS, and the...
