I’m in Chicago supervising the packing and moving of our remaining items. If ya hadn’t guessed, we are CRAZY busy lately. Aside from the seemingly never-ending move, we both working a ton, and it seems like I’ve been gone the entire month of August. I didn’t look up from my laptop yesterday to notice a gorgeous sunrise over the treetops yesterday though (and then of course it was time to pack and head out again…).

Last Sunday we wandered a mile or so down Memorial Drive hoping to get a good shot of the city at sunrise. Though the sunrise that day was not the best we’ve seen, the spot definitely has potential.

After a week in Houston, we’re still buried in boxes but things are settling down to normal. Morgan and Bailey were amazing little travelers and have already adapted to their new surroundings (many more sun spots here so they’re happy).
