Rome Our trip started in Rome, mainly because that's where our international flight from Chicago landed. We spent a few days sightseeing before heading North by train.
	Florence We then went to Florence, where we spent a few days (including Christmas). This is where we had our first GREAT Italian meals including cappucinos with "bon noel" spelled into the froth.
	Venice Our feeding frenzy continued in Venice, where we got lost on sidestreets and fun eating in restaurants where the menu was NOT in English.
	Switzerland We intended to ski the alps for a few days, but found out that we don't ski as well as we used to, so instead we hiked a lot and sampled a lot of fondue.
	Milan We originally intended Milan to be a convenient overnight before our flight home, but photographing Il Duomo turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip.
